PCS Wins YMQW8
The contingent of Paco Catholic School wonin both the junior and the senior divisions of the Young Minds Quiz Wiz Year 8 Third Inter-School Edition. This year's contest was participated inby St. Joseph's School (SJS) of Pandacan and Pasig Catholic College (PCC). SJS was runner-up in the senior division while PCC won the runner-up place in the junior division. POSTED 29 Nov 2008
SJS, PCC Join YMQW8
St. Joseph's School of Pandacan and Pasig Catholic College joined YMQW8 in its annual competition held last November 8, 2008. PCC is joining the competition for the first while SJS has been part of YMQW since the first inter-school edition three years ago. POSTED 02 Nov 2008
Paconians Join YMQW8
A record of 160 high school students joined in the elimination round of the Young Minds Quiz Wiz Year 8. The elimination round was conducted by the Interact Club of Paco Catholic School uner the leadership of Mr. Nikko Canlas, Interact Club President and Ms. Ana Maria L. Agustin, the club's adviser. Pantano Bags 5th Place in Rotary Quiz
Dan M. Pantano, a senior student at PCS, landed fifth place in a field of 30 high school students from various Metro Manila schools at the th Rotary International District 3810 Quiz Contest held at the Philippine Women's University last February 16, 2008. Pantano was a regular participant since 2003 and champion in past editions of YMQW. POSTED 16 FEB 2008
On November 20, 2007, YM registered and acquired its own domain name — youngmindsinc.com. After encountering some technical problems, the web site was transferred from younmindsquizwiz.0catch.com to www.youngmindsinc.com on December 8, 2007, Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
The first inter-school version of Young Minds Quiz Wiz was feature in the Spark Magazine volume 2 Issue 1 2007.
